Destiny and Life’s Purpose

purple4Few days Ago I was interviewed “Live on outstanding, an Internet site for personal growth “, it was an amazing opportunity to talk to 400 people via the Internet, many of them had questions about their destiny andLife’s purpose, they were looking for inspiration and they want to search for answers so they can grow to their full potential and do what they are meant to do on planet earth.

My answer focused on: Trust your feelings and do what looks like your destiny and life purpose NOW, it can evolve in time and even become something else entirely in the future. But you need to and can decide NOW based on your current passion and feelings. Trust the universe and a clear vision of your life purpose will eventually reveal, at the right time.

Robin Sharma’s inspiration for today ” Trust that where life carries you is exactly where you are meant to be. Let go of all your resistance and move into a posture of surrendering to whatever is unfolding. Doing so is one of the ways you will ensure that you will walk the path of your destiny, your true path”.

Few months ago we developed an interactive online program based on Deepak Chopra’s Best seller – Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Our aim was to help people implement the method in their lives.

karma
I think that it is very important to start your day with 15 to 30 minutes practice of the Seven Laws. I have been doing it every day for the last few month, feeling that it is helping me to balance my life and achieve my deepest desires.

The laws offer anyone who wants to create a meaningful and happier reality, the practical tools and clear knowledge of what success is and how to reach it.
Designed to connect you to the mystery of existence, the seven laws will guide you to fulfill your true potential, and live a balanced and inspired life.
Seven simple daily laws contain all the information you need in order to begin your personal journey.

While connecting to Tuesday’s law, The Law of Karma, I realized that Every moment is a moment of choice and therefore every moment is a moment of infinite possibilities.

In order to understand and implement the law into your life, you can ask yourself to recognize that you are a choice maker, to anticipate the consequences of your choice and to listen to your body to sense the affect of your choice.

Daily Inspiration – 23.3.09

Two weeks ago Robin Sharma arrived to Israel as our guest and speaker in three events, we had an amazing time where Robin gave inspiration to so many people in the events, in meetings and to every person he met.
robin-in-the-event
It was also the launch to our new program called ” Leadership For Everyone” and Robin’s new book called “Daily Inspiration“. I believe that we all need inspiration every day and by reading books, seeing movies, going to seminars or listening to podcasts, it can be part of our life. I have decided that when a daily inspiration will touch my heart I will write about it and today it did. I felt that so many people are survivals in this world and forget that they have many choices and that they can take action now!

robin-in-israel“We always have choices as human beings. Each of us has far more choices that we are aware of. We think we are so Limited in life that we have to live and do what we currently do. That’s just more of the language that victims are prone to use. It’s always up to you – how far along the path home from social self to your authentic self you want to go. And when you assume personal responsibility for what’s not working in your life and then bravely start taking action to improve what needs to improve, doors you didn’t even know existed will begin to open up.” Robin Sharma

Accept Uncertainty

green2Unemployment occurs when a person is available to work but is without work. The unemployment figures are growing worldwide, in US it is 8.1% ( Feb 09) Vs 4.8% ( Feb 08) and many articles describe this phenomena as the biggest threat to the world, bigger then war.

Yesterday I spoke to friend that was on his way for job interview searching for inspiration to be on his best. I suggested to him that by being passionate about the work he is going to do, he will have better chances to get the job. Be agile, Accept uncertainty and Enjoy life are the kings of inspiration that will help anyone get the right job even today.

The world is changing and it is a time of uncertainty. Every day I receive an email or a call from people asking if I can help them find a job. To every person that wants to find a job, I usually advise to be proactive, write and talk every day to people they know and ask them to assist you, be creative and search for many different approaches to find a job (other than looking at the internet and newspapers) and don’t forget to use the time of unemployment to invest in your growth, read books, write about your dreams work and spend more quality time with their families.

Opportunities Are Now Here

greenAs I get ready for an important board meeting today, I realize that now people tend to be more conservative. We realize that the economy has changed and that there’s less and less room for optimism. It’s better to be on the safe side and communicate the fears to the public and share holders or the downside of the business rather than the upside.

As a chairman, my role is to mentor the CEO, to lead the strategy and manage the board meetings and decision on short, medium and long term view of the business but in today’s world I find board members trying to help the firm survive these hard times instead of looking for opportunities to grow. We all know that “opportunities are nowhere” is written with the same letters but with different spaces as “opportunities are now here“, and I think that it is the time to show leadership and spread some optimism, so that good businesses will grow and that the economy today, like a burnt piece of timber, would act as the ground for future soil / businesses to grow faster.

The Law of Least Effort

Jeff, one of my closest friends, called me yesterday. He was very frustrated. He cannot understand why his team manager does not treat him accordingly to his great efforts. He shared with me the fact that lately, due to atmosphere efficiency, fairing and cutting costs he has decided to act. He made the decision to be more involved, to initiate, help, and stand out – or in other words, become a core part of the team and the organization. As a result his mangers will find out how difficult it would be if they were to lose him as an employee in the hopes that they wouldn’t let him go, even when harder times come.

Following the plan he created, he initiated new business directions in order to increase revenues. He shared his work and information with his team members. He worked a lot of hours from the office and even took work home with him, working late into the night to reach his goals. Jeff speaks at all meetings, respects other peoples ideas and thoughts and gives his boss tips regarding the work of the team as well as all the information needed to assist him as well.

He hoped that his strategy would produce results, gaining appreciation, but instead the opposite seemed to occur. Despite his efforts Jeff does not feel appreciated. He finds himself getting into a lot of arguments as it seems no one sees his efforts and his manager constantly trys to avoid him. Frustration sinks in and Jeff starts to resent everyone for not seeing his hard work. Each and every day the fear of getting fired fuels the fire to try harder, even if he is not being acknowledged.

While we discussed this situation, I used some information, knowledge and examples which I took from Deepak Chopra’s new interactive program: “The Seven Laws of Success Online Program”

One of Deepak’s laws is the forth law: “The Law of Least Effort”. The path to fulfillment doesn’t need to be so difficult, and offers three liberating steps to a happier and more abundant life by taking the path of least effort.
1. Accept people, circumstances, and events as they are in this moment. When confronted with any challenge, remind yourself, “This moment is as it should be,” because the entire universe is as it should be.

2. Take responsibility for your situation without blaming anything or anyone, including yourself. Every problem is an opportunity to take this moment and transform it into greater benefit.

3. Be un-defended. Relinquish the need to defend your point of view. In defenselessness, you remain open to all points of view, not rigidly attached to one of them.

As for Jeff, I told him that it seems that he is trying too hard, and that’s why things are not happening as he planned. I suggested that he might consider stop trying so hard and take a break. He should understand that the universe will send him a massage to hold back a little and not try so hard, for sometimes when we are trying too hard we reach the opposite end result.

One of the exercises in the online program deals with situations such as Jeff’s and I invite you to practice it. Please take a couple of moments, sit down in a quiet place and answer the following question in writing!

What can you do today to better accept things as they are? (For example: to focus on what there IS in every situation, taking your time to respond and not react automatically, seeing things from many perspectives, etc.)

The purpose of this exercise is to help you direct your thoughts toward excepting things as they are so you can grow through them, getting you closer to reaching self fulfillment. As you can see, it is not about not-doing things. It’s about doing things differently.

Jeff did some thinking, and after completing some exercises decided to stop fighting for things to go his way and accepted things as they are.. He made the decision to stop worrying about the feedback from his boss and colleagues and just be who he is, do his best and keep himself open minded – welcoming any changes to come.

I also would like to add one phrase which I learned from my manager when I worked for Microsoft: “Do Few Things Well.” When we are doing a lot of things, we are not necessarily getting great results. Not when we do few things, but well…. It is always better, to us and to our surroundings.

I invite you to experience Deepak Chopra’s latest released project: The Seven Laws of Success online program and exercise your way towards success and a happier live.

The Seven Laws of Success online program is based on Dr. Deepak Chopra’s two best-selling books: “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” and “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga.” This new, interactive online program was created in order to help people realize their dreams and aspirations and fulfill their potential. Empowering them to live the life they always intended.

This amazingly easy and fulfilling program is rich and varied and includes hundreds of exclusive video and audio files, questionnaires, yoga exercises, explanations and meditation sessions all guided by Dr. Deepak Chopra & Dr. David Simon, who will help them to understand what success is, and inspire them to achieve it. I invite you to join the full program to practice all the seven laws and get yourself closer to outstanding success as well as a happier life.

Personal growth should be common property

Personal growth should be common property

I used to work for Microsoft for 13 years, and had the privilege of working with coaches throughout my career and personal life. I remember my first coaching session back in 1996 which, by the way, has never stopped since. I had realized then, that I had gained so much benefit from it and that I wanted to share it with as many people as I could. At the beginning I brought the news of coaching to my teams, which were followed by my colleagues. People around me started calling me “that coaching guy” as it gradually became a growing part of my life.

I found myself summarizing books that I read on personal growth and business management, as I was trying to implement them into my life. Let me tell you, it was not easy at all.

Even at Microsoft, the richest company in the world, only executives can benefit from coaching (directors and above) due to the financial cost. When I left Microsoft in Jan 2006, it was clear to me that I was going to dedicate the coming years of my life into bringing coaching to the masses.

I knew the time was right, I knew that the internet would have something to do with it, and I knew that lots of people are going to benefit from it.

Three years ago, my dream was realized in the form of “Coaching Interactive”- my baby. The decision to establish Coaching Interactive, sprung from the belief that coaching and personal growth should be common property. I see our vision as bringing as many people as possible closer to growth. Our efforts and vision embrace people, wherever they are, offering each one of them various solutions and tools using high-end technology to provide simple and easy to use solutions at affordable prices.

In my opinion, the way to realize this vision is by establishing cooperation between people all over the world with mentors, coaches and coaching schools around the globe using common unifying objectives. This is an era of outstanding opportunity for synergic cooperation that will help increase and fulfill the enormous potential of coaching.

Yours,
