indigo2Many people, including ourselves, find that they feel a need to write, maybe to publish a book or an article in which they can tell and share their thoughts and experiences with others – in our case, we were blessed to  publish our own book a year ago.

We all have in us a sort of “editor” big or small or perhaps you would call it a “judge” or “censor”. That which tells us what is ok and not ok, that helps us decide what is right and what is wrong, what we should say now, and how to behave in every situation. And maybe, it doesn’t always help us.

Maybe when we give it center stage, it blocks our creativity, our spontaneity, spunk and spirit. So how do we limit its presence and allow other parts some more stage time? How do we divide our attention between all of the “roles” inside us in a way that will allow us to flow? And maybe the answer to this lies in the question itself.

A good way we found is to practice, to repeat the action consistently until the change is made. And if it is writing we are dealing with, this means writing for at least 30 minutes a day and practicing focusing on the pen or writing hand, or letters of the keyboard, or the breath coming out and in through our nose, anything that could distract our attention from the content, the writing and the “editor”. To release and allow ourselves to write whatever pops up in our head, without deciding on the subject beforehand.

When you get stuck it’s recommended to go back to the first line, because that allows opening new routes (confusing the “editor”). You can put in a few comments like “I’m finding this hard right now”, “I’ve nothing to write”, or “I want to stop” to release resistance during the process. It’s recommended to do the same when “editor” remarks pop up, such as “this is so silly”, “I am so ridiculous” and ” who ever said I could write?” etc. This way, you are giving this voice a temporary stage that usually quiets it. Most of all it is important to remember that change does not happen in a moment, and if we have lived with this character inside us till now, for so long, there is no reason that we should be able to erase it in one day.

purple4“From practice shall come faith”. This is a sentence we heard in a spiritual awareness course we took together a few years ago and really connected to. From our experience, this sentence really works. The more you practice writing, as in everything else, the more the change is brought about. The more you write, the more your focusing ability will grow, your points of view will expand and you will become aware of a special feeling during writing. When you allow the pen to write as if by itself, or the keyboard keys to run on their own it’s like someone else is sitting there and writing from within you and the sensation is that of floating.

In conclusion, writing is a process of practice, and just like you can’t shape your body through talking about fitness, but need to exercise, such is the case with writing. To write a book, it is not enough to think about it! You need to start to write…

We recommend to practice intuitive writing. It is a sort of writing that allows a flowing and reception of messages beyond what we are familiar with. It is possible to converse with the spiritual guides, to receive answers for rising questions, and to strengthen confidence in our way.

A recommended exercise in intuitive writing:
Answer five questions: what made me happy today? What made me feel uncomfortable? What do I want to change? What is the next step I must take? How can I be of service? And then let the pen write “on its own” on the page. Focus on the ballpoint that is writing and not on what you are writing, and notice the change in handwriting, and in the way of writing which changes from me to you with time. Write no less than three folio pages each time. If this is difficult, start from ten minutes, and raise the amount of time gradually. Practice this at least three times a week and remember that through practice faith will come too.

Solving Problems

redIn the last few days I have been thinking about what our subscribers would like to receive while visiting our site.

Until recently, I thought that they visit the site to get our online programs and implement the know-how and methods from our Mentors books. However, in the last few days, more and more clients and friends are telling me that they would love getting answers to their urgent challenges such as : Career, Wealth, Health,Relayionship, Stress and Balance.

Solving subscribers’ challenges is the main idea behind new products and new companies. The enabling technology is the platform that enables serving the subscribers, yet, the only way to succeed is by placing the client in the center and by doing so, be able to reach more clients.

We try to understand the clients’ needs by having ongoing discussions with them and asking them various questions including the reason for them choosing our company’s offering. We also ask for their feedback (we prefer calling it feed-forward) and suggestions on how to continue improving our services.

Thankfully, the internet helps us to provide the services and communicate with the clients, helping us to improve our services and serve them better.

Personal growth should be common property

I used to work for Microsoft for 13 years, and had the privilege of working with coaches throughout my career and personal life. I remember my first coaching session back in 1996 which, by the way, has never stopped since. I had realized then, that I had gained so much benefit from it and that I wanted to share it with as many people as I could. At the beginning I brought the news of coaching to my teams, which were followed by my colleagues. People around me started calling me “that coaching guy” as it gradually became a growing part of my life.

I found myself summarizing books that I read on personal growth and business management, as I was trying to implement them into my life. Let me tell you, it was not easy at all.

Even at Microsoft, the richest company in the world, only executives can benefit from coaching (directors and above) due to the financial cost. When I left Microsoft in Jan 2006, it was clear to me that I was going to dedicate the coming years of my life into bringing coaching to the masses.

I knew the time was right, I knew that the internet would have something to do with it, and I knew that lots of people are going to benefit from it.

Three years ago, my dream was realized in the form of “Coaching Interactive”- my baby. The decision to establish Coaching Interactive, sprung from the belief that coaching and personal growth should be common property. I see our vision as bringing as many people as possible closer to growth. Our efforts and vision embrace people, wherever they are, offering each one of them various solutions and tools using high-end technology to provide simple and easy to use solutions at affordable prices.

In my opinion, the way to realize this vision is by establishing cooperation between people all over the world with mentors, coaches and coaching schools around the globe using common unifying objectives.
